HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Jan. 2nd, 2004 03:17 pmWell a day late, but the sentiments the same...even if 2004 is no different from 2003 (as it always goes). Well, I guess one thing is different, we got our first significant snowfall of this winter, only about an inch, but it's going to stay well below freezing so the white stuff is going to be sticking around for a while [sarcasm]yippee[/sarcasm].
Just got back from taking Mum to the airport, so life should begin reverting to normal, although won't be completed until Monday when the kids and hubby go back to school and work respectively. Then without any school for a couple of weeks, I should have plenty of time to catch up on emails and messages I owe people (for this is one of my resolutions, not to put off/get behind on replying to people...yeah, I always go for the unrealistic ones *g*), the LJ, and writing (I've had plenty of ideas from many of the muses, so I just hope I can focus on something). Also need to finish transfering stuff from the old PC...something I can do far more easily in a quiet, empty house with no distractions.
