So, I made it back from my vacation home. Had a wonderful time, did lots of shopping and travelling around. It was DAMN! DAMN! hot though...recording breaking heat the first week I was there. 100F is not nice at the best of times, but in a country where AC is non-existent it is torture.
Anyway, I get home Tuesday night and go to bed about 10pm...and slept solid until 10am. I was exhausted. Didn't feel like doing jack yesterday, but had to haul my butt to a computer class I'm doing. Should be easy enough as, to begin with anyway, it's simple and basic computer stuff.
I'll write up more about my holiday (and yeah, I know I still need to do that for my trip to Garmisch)...but I do have to mention the Jousting Tournament I went to at Warwick Castle. These guys were good! Although I do still prefer the Nottingham Jousting Association, which I saw a couple of years ago, The Devil's Horsemen were a close match. The stunts and riding acrobatics they did were amazing, and their horses...stunningly gorgeous (Spanish and Portuguese bred). The team, led by one Gerard Naprous, are famous for their TV and film work...their credits include Sharpe V, Highlander, Ivanhoe, First Knight, and currently Troy...so major connections with both Sean and Valentine! *vbg* Plus the horse Mr. Naprous rode is the current Lloyd's Bank black horse (in UK ads for the bank).
