As tonight is the State of the Union address...

Here's my State of the Muses address. (This is for my benefit really, although feel free to read if your interested)

I have to admit that this past week or so, I've been uninspired to write much of anything regarding the muses. I've just not been able to settle down and write something even though I've got ideas buzzing around. Hopefully I'm coming out of that as I have some quite old tags sitting in my inbox that I feel guilty at, but I just look at them and nothing happens.


The State of my Muses:

Hsu Danmei is currently home in Switzerland, skiing when he can and plotting revenge on the Watchers when he's not doing that. Before he left, he met up with Darius and enlisted his help. He's also in a thread with Anson from before he left, with Shan in his quick trip to Hawaii, and a pastfic thread with Fanny. He's also still in TM but has found the past couple of topics not very interesting. Coming up, an attack on the Watchers...and killing more of them. And then there'll be a big change for him, which I'll reveal closer to it happening.

Terry Sheridan is back and answering prompts over at ROTM, which is good for him as I've always enjoyed writing him. He's also been chatting on and off with Lara Croft which is fun to see them snarling and sniping at each other.

Erik is quiet. He's behind in his TM prompts, and I'm to the point of dropping him from there and just have him remain in the limited rp he's been in. He did get married (not that the thread was ever finished *g*) to Sestra, and now he is fighting off an illness.

Nasir who was never very active is being dropped from TM and altogether. It was fun writing him again for a little while, but he is not the type of pup to lend himself to rp if there aren't his fellow canon characters around.

Athenea is happy being in relationships with both Eve and Judas, and she's a lot happier than she used to be. She's currently having a nice time with Eve where they're talking about the Halloween party and having a cozy dinner with her old friend Korda.

Also dropped from all rp is Attila. This has taken me sometime to come to this decision as he was my first pup in TM, and I've had a terrific time with him, but sooner or later I had to face the fact that he's just not talking anymore.

And now for two pups that I've kept fairly hush-hush, though some of you know one of them. :D

Frankie Morrison (frankie__m), I don't do much with him, but he does answer, from time to time prompts in sandbox_muses. When he does play, it's quite fun -- and a totally different mindset -- playing a 10 year old deaf boy.

Daemon Sadi (sadist_whore), I keep him in limited rp (though he did come out for Halloween) due to the fact that he's wildly AU. He made friends with Amy and with her went and adopted two dogs from the animal shelter. He also met with Aeon in a very slow developing relationship. Currently he's having a drink and talk with Jon and about to go to Lucid with him...which for this pup will be very interesting.

He's AU in the way that he's on earth obviously, and I pretty much pulled him out of the timeline right before he went to Chaillot so he never met Witch/Jaenelle. I plan for him to discover a way to travel between the Realms and Earth. But he would love to chat with Surreal even if it's just meta. :D

*g* Well, Surreal's back and forth between Kaeleer, Earth and the Realm, so pretty AU herself at this point. ;-) And in labor currently. lol

So much easier to take them AU sometimes. *g* I wondered if the baby was getting close! Hee! I'm sure Daemon will have something to say about that.

*g* The baby's technically not due 'til mid-March, but we didn't know if I'd be able to play it then, so we decided it was going to be a premie. Poor love's freaking out right now. *pets her*

*G* That sounds good. So, you have him coming from pretty early in the books, yeah? Just so she doesn't go chattering about stuff he doesn't know.. lol

That is true, and in this case, far better to be early than have her stuck being pregnant for months. *ggg* But yeah, very worrying for her.

Yeah. He knows about Tersa and Saetan, but he hasn't yet met or communicated with him. *g*

Yeah, I'm really sorry about that. One of few things I mentioned that I feel guilty over. But it's just not happening with the muse. He's still around, just not speaking, and not sure he will again...if he does, you'll be the first to know.

*hugs* It's okay. I know the feeling, unfortunately. A few if not all of my muses have been this close to being ditched at one time or another.
