uhm....okay
Not sure of the brilliance of this idea, but here goes anyway...
I suck at picking names.
The problem with this is Haag is going to 'die' soon and will need not only a new name for him, but also as it'll be weird to use
dieterhaag when he's not going to be that any more. So I'm seriously thinking of buying a rename token for that journal and changing it.
So what I'm asking, is any suggestions?

Uhm..how about his real name?
Otherwise you might have to change it again, possibly.
If not...an American or European name? Just to restric the field a bit. Will ponder and come back to you :)

Did think about his real name, but I think that'll be a last resort. I know it doesn't make much different, but he'll prefer to keep it less known.
There's also taking a more descriptive username...I don't know, something like utter_bastard *ggg*...that'll last rather than a name.
But the name will be European. :D
Thanks!

*yes, we're being emotional today. We'll cope eventually* :)
utter_bastard looks like a good solution to me...
also_known_as? what you think of that? Aliases and such.
Uhm *brainstorming* Drew Keller? Dalton Kiele? Desmond Kustar?
(don't ask me why the D-K connection...although, maybe a D-H would be good if he has initials on clothing...?)

But you have inspired me...as I *squee'd* over your icon....Hsu was friends with Grayson...so why not take his name for a while? Plus he'll enjoy the looks on Darius' and Mac's faces. *eg*
Thanks for your help, Babe!

*Listens to the muses and giggles.* They say the looks on Darius's and Mac's faces would be priceless. ;)

Btw, did I hear somewhere...prolly from Hmpf...that you're going to Leeds? If so, yay!! Me too. If not, and I was mistaken...awwww and sorry. *g*

Yay! The muses are pleased.

*Nods.* I'm going. The plan is plane from Bangor, to Boston, to London, and then train to Leeds. That "Oh my God, oh my God, oh my God, it's only a month away now," panic is starting since I've never been out of the country before. I've got my passport, but I'm not sure what kind of documentation I need for my prescription drugs I need to take with me. x_x

If you're not sure, you could always contact the British Consulate...there should be one in Boston and/or NY and ask.
And you'll be fine!!! How exciting, first trip abroad! *g*

I think utter_bastard would be popular. *chuckle* But I do like also_known_as...actually I really like that. Hopefully no one has that or a variation on that.
He wants to get away from DH...as Inga did point out to him that he tends to favour those initials. I do like those names, especially the first two. And

aka_bastard...how about that? *hides*
(also, I imagine all the variations on Alias have been taken, and since I don't like that series, I hope they are and that you don't like it ;)

Well, we know Amy would like it. *g* Yeah, I'm meh on Alias...does nothing for me one way or another.
And thanks for the suggestions...*snugs*

1) He's been based in Switzerland using a German name. So, for a quick change of both name and nationality, French or Italian might be the simplest change for him to make.
2) His listed known alias besides Dieter is Daniel Harper so if he's looking for something new he may not want English.
3) Ah... Italian might work too, kind of depends on how he feels about Rome after all the years he spent there. But my first guess was French because not only was he a Crusader, but he was a landed knight Toulouse.
Does that help any? Where you looking for specific name suggestions? I can work on a few if you'd like.
