Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban yesterday and made some interesting observations.

I went to see it in Luxembourg, which has the only English language cinema around here, and when you watch the Version Originale you get subtitles in both French and Flemish. It can be amusing...especially when it comes to translated names.

Now I can't remember all of them, suffice to say I thought the French versions of both Hogwarts and Crookshanks highly amusing. The Flemish version of Sirius Black was Sirius Zwarts, but oddly enough it was not Sirius Noir in French, but still Black. Snape was the best one, however. Still Snape in Flemish, but in French he was Professor Rogue.

Yes, Rogue

How odd.
