Taking a break...
Sep. 16th, 2003 01:29 pmfrom the school work. My term paper is beginning to take shape and is now coming along very nicely. Even if I say so myself. Just hope I can keep up the momento.
Was bummed out on Friday evening. Hubs and me were supposed to do Dinner and a Movie...the movie being Tomb Raider 2, but he didn't get home until 7:30...half an hour after the movie started! I'm just praying that it'll get shown again...I need more Gerry to drool over!
Sunday we all went to Eifelpark...a small little amusement/wildlife park about 10km from here. It was quite enjoyable. #1 Son grouched all the way there...he's just too old and too cool for any of that stuff anymore. Got to the first attraction...one of those giant slides...and he completely changed. German efficieny raised it's head again...as we waited half an hour to get a drink. The Imbiß (fast food booth) was the only place to get food or drink, and they only had one person working...and everybody else are ordering Wurst and fries etc. And the server would fully deal with one customer before going to the next one.
As for Hubs going away again. Next week he leaves until November sometime. Feels like just a flying visit....but at least it's only for a couple of months rather than most of those deployed in various regions.
