Well, I might as well jump in and follow in the wonderful footsteps of both fannyfae and ashtoreth, plus it's been ages since I've subjected my muses to a meme like this.

This is meant to be fun. I have put the questions under the cut, and I've listed my main muses that I write at writers_muses, worldundersiege, and immortalstories below that.

10. I'm a demon from the bowels of Hell, there was never much opportunity for a serious relationship, and even flings only became fun once I came to Earth. I'm not counting either out.

16. Well, there's...... No. But there is...... No, that's not one either. Perhaps...? No. Hmmm...let's just say I haven't found it yet.

26. Are they breathing? Second, do they seem like they're up for a lot of pain and pleasure.

3. Before us, glyka mou? Well, there was my second Spartan wife and lasted several years thanks to an arrangement with Dilios to carry out our Spartan duty, and for much of that I was away on campaign anyway. And of course, Dilios himself during those times, and that was about fifty years, give or take.

15. Honestly, no, I don't. I do believe in Fate, though.

26. It depends. Sometimes it's her hair, say long, golden curls, or if I glimpse her face, a smile of such sweetness I've found that it's impossible to deny.

35. Never. Spartans do not do romance. *quick grin*

50. Why be afraid of the answer? *headtilt* I admit I'm not big on a lot of PDAs, that old Spartan stoicism, but in our home, in our bed...you know that I very much like cuddling up with you.

Thank you for noting that *smirk* Yes, my answers to most of them would be N/A.

3. Even this one isn't simple because longest and relationship would both need to be defined. There's Caspian who I met shortly after I became Immortal, and we maintain a friendship and every few years we might 'hook' up. Then there is yourself, my Goezde, whom I have known some 1500 years and we have always remained close, but we are not a 'couple'. And lastly there is Xiao, whom I've also known for centuries, and although I don't view it as such, I have no doubt that he would be thrilled to be regarded as one half of a couple with me. These are my longest relationships.

9. The easiest question. Loyalty is the most important part of any relationship.

33. I don't now. Does picking someone up somewhere, perhaps indulging in a few drinks or recreational drugs, going to bed for a night of fucking, and then kicking them out as the sun rises constitute a relationship?

3. No. I never regarded us as a 'couple'. We defined the rules at the beginning, I believe. *smirk* But we were always a pair to be contended with. - especially against Rome and elsewhere.

9. Then I am content in knowing that you and I have always been that - even when we were on opposite sides of the war.

3. I think we certainly did. We discovered back then that separate we were forces to contend with, but together we were, and are, unbeatable and unconquerable.

9. Trust is probably a popular answer, and I'm predictable. With the way He and my brothers like to treat me, view me, and speak of me, it is important that a person trusts me.

10. Admittedly most of my relationships have been more flings than anything, but there have been one or two that I would view as serious as I would regard any such relationship between us.

14. Yes, of course it is. It can't be anything else for races such as ours.

16. No, I'm pretty much game for anything. Being let down by someone, or if they won't agree with my plans.

20. Many, many, but only two three? *hides hopeful look* have meant anything.

26. I notice that which can't been seen at first. If someone is not a normal, dull human or otherwise extraordinary in some way.

14. Well, it would be a bit awkward if age mattered. There's a huge age gap between me and everyone else on Earth, family excluded.

16. Those who follow dear old Dad are awful bores if they can't get over the whole sinning thing or the fact that I'm the Devil. So very few understand that I don't punish sin but the guilty.

20. You expect me to keep count!?

26. I don't have a 'type' young/old, male/female, short/tall, thin/fat, blond[e]/brunett[e] and everything in between, so it's irrelevant what I notice first. Actually, they usually notice me first and, well, *grins* I am the Devil, the find that irresistible.

10. Unlike my brothers *glances up* I would prefer something more serious. However, now that Father's restored my wings, I don't know if I risk losing them again.

14. I don't know. There is an imbalance between the age of Celestials and the much younger humans.

16. Anything too out there, kink-wise. Shut up, Maze...I did not like that!

20. Two. Linda and someone else..that one ended badly. Stop laughing, Maze, I Fell, how much more badly can it get?

21. Father's love can. For those who aren't eternal, love can probably last a lifetime.

26. As much as it pains me, I would have to agree with my Grigori brother, but I don't find humanity dull.

9. Trust. In itself it's a fundamental part of being a Spartan. In a phalanx, you have to trust that your comrades are standing there, shoulder-to-shoulder with you or else it fails. And trust then spills out into every other aspect of life, but especially between lovers.

15. As I said to my wife, Honestly, no, I don't. I do believe in Fate, though.

24. Hmmm... Be patient. If you are that, then the person you've been waiting for, even if you never realized it, will come into your life.

30. Neither and both. And that's just two of what makes Caroline so wonderful. She is beautiful inside and out.

38. Maybe, I'm really not sure. My first two marriages were according to Spartan law and for the sole purpose of producing Spartan children, not love marriages. And as it turned out that it was me incapable of producing children, those wives eventually found fertile Spartan warriors to make babies with. Your daughter is my third marriage, and though I was no hermit in between (and we are talking nearly 2500 years), I never misrepresented myself to wanting anything more than sex or companionship to any interim lover.

44. No, I don't believe I'm any of those three, but Comte, don't mistake that for a reluctance to stand up for or defend my wife should the need arise. *serious stare followed quickly by a flash of his grin*

You could consider it such, or you could simply consider it a conversation that perhaps should have been had between us a decade or more ago. I may have been remiss in allowing actions to speak louder than words. And too, at the time I did not truly believe in a - a man who could so easily and continually come back from the dead.

38. Have you ever considered adoption, or brought it up with Caroline? And if this is too personal, please feel free to ignore. It is simply curiosity.

44. Yes, I know this. You are an honorable man, as I have known for a very long time. Tell me, Spartan - which is more important in your life? Love, or honor?

Yes, a chat would've been preferable. *knows it's as much of an apology as he's ever likely to get* Louder? More like deafening. *grin* I have to ask, as we're having this chat, is the fact that I'm so hard to kill a matter of relief or regret for you?

38. No, I don't find it too personal at all. As it happens, we've never discussed children, having them or not. If and when we do have that talk, I'm sure we'll decide what we want together. But for now, children aren't in our immediate plans. We're still very much in the honeymoon phase *grins*

44. Which is more important? Hard, if not impossible, to say. For me honour and love are inextricably entwined. They are made from the same. And for that which is most important to me, be it Sparta or Caroline, they are definitely inseparable.
