A little more free time

Well, it's still crazy holiday busy around here, but it has calmed down a little with the hubby on his way back to the desert...having had a mini-holiday celebrations before he left. So even with the craziness, I will be able to spend a bit more time catching up on things with the muses, but I do still have a housefull with eldest home and his girlfriend here as well.

I'd just like to say to everyone on the flist...

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!

That's one of the benefits of working in higher ed. Of course we don't get summers off, or spring break (I thought I was going to die this past one because there were no students, and therefore nothing to do), but a two-week break at Christmas is nice.

Christmas is a nice break to get off...pity about the others, especially when you have nothing to do. Although, at least you're getting paid for it, right!

This is true. Getting paid for not working is always good. ;)

I'm sorry your hubby has to go back to the desert. What a bite! Couldn't they have waited until after Christmas??? Although, I guess war waits for nothing. *sigh* I'll keep him in my prayers.
