Seriously, and Christina would agree with me on this one, I think, either Waingro from Heat or Montoya from Miami Vice. I always want to write something darker and action oriented, but not many people want to keep it that way, and not many people have the patience with me in a genre I'm not used to.

Waingrow is completely twisted. Montoya is a bit more like Hsu. But Waingrow is Azazeal's low level errand boy of evil glee.

Somehow I think Azazeal is a little more highbrow than to have a flunkie like Waingrow. But who knows...He strikes me more of a little goblin type of thing like out of Legend - Blix, that guy with the beak! ;)

Hmmm...Yes. I could see Azazeal using Waingrow as a catspaw. That would be very reminicent of the "48 Laws of Power" of him. ;)

Montoya is actually one of the closest characters that I have ever seen on screen to the persona that you have for Hsu. He is not in love with Isabella, but she is HIS, and while they both have other lovers, it's when she is emotional with Crockett that he gets pissed off. He is very direct and cold in his dealings, his security measures are intricate and really fascinating. His demeanor is very, very much like Hsu.

Waingrow is just completely insane. He's very interesting, but a gutter level of a madman.
