Ahhh, young love...

Well #1 had his date on Saturday. And we got to meet her, Katherine. She seems very nice. They had a meal (Burger King I think *g*) and then went bowling. It's just a very strange feeling to see your child start dating...for one thing, makes you feel old. "I can't have a son that's dating already". LOL!

Sunday we all went to see X-Men 2 at the base theatre. I really liked it, lots of good stuff. Of course, in best AAFES tradition, the film broke down (I don't think I've been to a base theatre where they haven't had SOME problem)...about 10 minutes from the end...which is a record for them, I believe. Ah, well, you get what you pay for...

Today went with my neighbour and her friend to the closest Wal-Mart down in Trier. Let's just say, as someone who hates Wal-Mart anyway, I'd gladly step into a US one after this. Not that it was very bad. It was like a K-Mart on a day when none fo the stockers had turned up. I did pick up two nail polishes for .55 Eurocents each and some biscuits.

*smiles* It sounds very sweet!

I hate to be the one to break it to you sweets, but you have a son old enough to date now! *vbeg*

Wasn't X-Men 2 good? Wolverine. Nightcrawler. Storm. Mystique. Magneto. Mmmm... *wink*
