Off to the UK for two days! Going to see one of my 80s objects of fangirly lust...Midge Ure, former lead singer of Ultravox. He's probably old and decrepit by now, but I'm sure he's still cute in a way *g*. He's going to be at a book signing in Milton Keynes and doing a few songs. Hey this was worth missing Collectormania 6 for, even though they had Paul Darrow (Avon in Blake's 7) and Dirk Benedict there. Fortunately my friend got me their autographs and some pics.

ohhhhhhhh Midge Ure - I used to really like Ultravox, great band. Fuuny enough Midge is headlining a Here and now tour which comes to plymouth in december - on the bill is also Belinda Carlisle, the original Bucks Fizz (not with Jay Aston), Kim Wilde ,Limahl and a few others. I wanted to go but I've bought tickets for the Manic Street Preachers now lol and concert tickets are soooooo expensive now.
