Collectormania 8

Last weekend, as a birthday treat...I went off to Milton Keynes to see Collectormania 8. This time the guests weren't quite so good as last time, only one minor LOTR actor and no HP. And the two (IMO) big names there, William Shatner and Nicholas Brendan (Xander in BtVS) did not allow any photos to be taken. And one of the guests that I really wanted to see, John Schneider (a guilty teenage years pleasure), cancelled at the last moment. Still I had fun...and got to meet Scorpy from Farscape!

After we (an old friend and her hubby) went to see Dracula: The Ballet. Yeah, it sounds really weird...how could that be a ballet, but it was very good. Surreal, but very good. Very sexy Dracula and Lucy (Mina was so-so). Wish I still had my scanner as the program has some very lovely pics.

We also saw the new movie version of Pride and Prejudice...and all I could think when I saw Darcy was...it's Tom from Spooks!! LOL
