Okay so the hubby has been TDY for 2 weeks and is due back the middle of next week. Probably. If the planes don't break. Which they do. Anyway last night was the first time he was able to tell me where he was, although he had assured me and the kids that he wasn't anywhere dangerous (i.e. Iraq or Afghanistan...that's next year!). No...I reckon he didn't tell me because he knew I'd try and smuggle myself into his bag, because I am sooooo jealous (No, it's not Greece, because then I'd be severely ticked off). He's been to all the places to see, well a few of them anyway. He didn't take the digital camera, so we're going to have to make do with disposal camera pics when he gets back.

He says we'll have to go there though...it's been on my top 5 places to visit before I die list for ages. Still can't broadcast where he is, but damn...just DAMN!!

Of course, he's all happy. Me? What do I get? Stranded on the autobahn in Belgium because the new transmission...only in two weeks seems to have broke. Why does this shit always happen when he's away? I hate dealing with this stuff...and really 'hate' is not a strong enough word. Luckily the local garage here should be picking it up either tomorrow or Wednesday....because, get this, his tow truck broke down on Saturday!

But I'm feeling much happier than I did Saturday or yesterday...the warranty should cover the cost of the tows. But then there's all the fun of sending back and ordering a new transmission from the States, even if it won't cost us. It took six weeks to get it last time, via UPS...most of that was wrestling with German customs. And if we do get it all done, there's the fact that will I ever be able to trust that car again?
