I was having a really bad day. First get a call from #1 Son's teacher saying that he hasn't turned in a project due Dec 18th. Then I get a forwarded email from a neighbour banging on about the evils of Islam versus the omni-benelovence/greatness of Christianity...I proceeded to give her a history lesson.
And the major badness. I registered last Monday for two online classes. Paid. Everything. Well only one class is showing up at the Classroom site. Apparently, I didn't register for one of them. What. The. Fuck did I pay nearly $700 for then! So when #2 Son gets home it's a trip back to base to sort this out. Fifteen minutes ago I was ready to tear them to pieces (sent a nasty email to the Distance Ed office), but now I feel better...so I'm just going to have a go at them.
Feeling better because...IT finally came! My signed Gerard Butler picture. Not big but *gasp* it's gorgeous...and black and white. Also got a letter...a form one. It's just the same as the others on the GB Message Board got, but it is actually signed (not stamped) by Gerry and my name is hand written, although I don't know if he did that...but I like to think he did *g*
Now for the Education Office!!!!! (yes I know what so many exclamation marks indicate)
ETA Just got back from the Ed Office. Stupid wankers. Everything is sorted, which is good. Apparently, the DE office's computer lost a bunch of names...so they reinstated me, but this was an hour before I got to the office. So why did no-one bother to phone or email me this, so I wouldn't have to go it? According to the last email I got from them, my "place holder" for the class would expire and my participation in the class cancelled if I didn't get to the Ed Office by close-of-business, so I had to go in. I think my *cough*direct*cough* email to them, where I told them when I paid, how much, and the check number had the desired effect of getting their arses in gear and that it wasn't my fuck up. *sigh*
