AWWW...so cute

This week the base is having a massive exercise. IOW, they get to play wargames. Usually, this means very little to me other than the Hubby working even longer hours than usual and the occasional inconvenience trying to get somewhere on base. Today, however, was a little difference. Driving up to the main gate were six "protesters". Didn't think too much about it at first as the Germans quite often stage a little (or not so little) demo outside. But these were obviously airmen (in civvies) playing as part of the exercise. What was so cute was the difference in putting their message across. Each had white poster board with No Bombs. No War scrawled very untidily in marker on. Very unimaginative. The German protesters (and those in other countries) are far more colourful with pretty coloured placards with rainbows and peace symbols. These GIs have a way to go...but their effort was cute, in a way. I got a chuckle from it at least.
