(no subject)

I'm beginning to feel buried under a mound of schoolwork. And the more buried I feel, the less motivated I feel in doing the work. Instead of doing that, I find myself sitting here, surfing LJs or writing fic. Given that until a few weeks ago, I was in a severe non-writing mode...I can only guess that I'm trying to distract myself. Of course, the muses don't help. They are louder now than they have been for a long time.

But I need to do this schoolwork!

On the better side of things...I'm a week into my diet and I weighed myself this morning and I've lost 5lbs. Not only that, but I'm also feeling a bit less lethargic ('cept when it comes to school *g*), and am going for regular walks around the neighbourhood.
