Clearly I really should check out Hex sometime. I still have the copy of Clarissa you gave me. I have the Horsemen on DVD twice over because I got the "Methos Rocks" set before I managed to get my hands on the complete season 5 set. Have you read the Torchwood novel The Twilight Streets? Bilis Manger features heavily in it. I've seen every one of your favorites there except for Azazeal, and the only one I don't remember clearly is the one from Snatch. I haven't seen it in a while and that is a rather... busy... story. Course I love it for Jason Statham. I'm looking forward to The Expandables for him and the explosions.

Hehehe, Azazeal is deliciously evil, charming and sexy! *g* Reminds me a bit of Cole from Charmed in that 'you know he's evil, but you can't help liking him' way. And I haven't read any of the Torchwood novels, but I didn't know Bilis was in one...I shall have to check that out! As for Brick Top from Snatch, he's the gangster with the glasses that owns the pig farm...and in my icon. A truly nasty piece of work.

Reminds me a bit of Cole from Charmed in that 'you know he's evil, but you can't help liking him' way.

I loved Cole Turner/Belthazor when he was still the half demon he started out as with that internal "human versus demon" struggle. I didn't like it when they made him human, and I hated it when they made him the Source of All Evil. Is Azazeal pure evil or is he more complicated then that?

And I haven't read any of the Torchwood novels, but I didn't know Bilis was in one...I shall have to check that out!

I've read a few that I heard had good Jack/Ianto moments in them. The Twilight Streets is my favorite of the books I've read. I'm hoping to get a copy of it signed by both Gareth and the author at Chicago TARDIS in November. Bilis features heavily in the story, and I think he's handled well. He didn't seem any less scary in it, or to have his air of mystery completely stripped away. I recommend the book.

Oooh! The one with the pig farm!! My favorite characters in Snatch not played by Jason Statham are the one with Desert Eagle and the one played by Brad Pitt. I'm not usually a Brad Pitt fan, but I love his performance in Snatch.

Is Azazeal pure evil or is he more complicated then that?

Oh, he's definitely more complicated. *g* Although he doesn't have that internal "human v. demon" struggle. He manages to, at the same time, be a complete manipulative bastard and thoroughly sympathetic. He can be vicious...and he can be quite sweet, and you don't always know if he's being sincere or not. But he does have his prophecy to fulfill.

Torchwood

I definitely will look out for that...I love Bilis, especially if he's well handled! Plus, keeping the mystery about him (I have my own theories).

Snatch
Bullet Tooth Tony is the one with the Desert Eagle...and brilliantly played by Vinnie Jones, who I also adore (ex-soccer player known for his violent tendencies on the pitch *g*). And I used to RP Brad Pitt's character, lots of fun...as well as Jason Statham's. *g* I LOVE Jason...can't wait for The Expendables
