Def: Political Correctness
The hubby sent me this:
There is an annual contest at Texas A&M University calling for the most appropriate definition of a contemporary term.
This year's term was "Political Correctness."
The winner wrote:
"Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end."

Also a quick apology to those I write with for not being around to hit tags the past couple of days...RL unexpectedly got the better of me, but hopefully this weekend I can catch back up. *hugs*

A belated welcome back and a big hug, hope the trip was great and that you're having a good end of summer. How's your son doing, by the way? Is he all through with basic training and settled into his new post?

I'm so far behind, too. Took a bit of a tumble three weeks ago and managed not to break my leg, but I did bang it and my foot up pretty impressively. I'm crutching it for the moment but hoping to be all healed up in a month or so. And I haven't forgotten about Hsu! (as if anyone ever could *g*) Sorry I haven't repped yet but will get to it soon.
