Remember, Remember the fifth of November.
First, my one and only post on the elections. I'm happy that Obama won. I voted for him, and this country does need change. Whether he can deliver that change remains to be seen, and the cynic that I am is taking a wait-and-see approach. I'm more happy that McCain/Palin didn't win, which is sad to vote for who you don't want rather than who you do.
It also almost seems fitting that after such an historic election, that today is Guy Fawkes' Day.
So to celebrate my homeland's remembrance of that day...

I was driving home from work when I heard Iowa had gone for Obama, and I couldn't help thinking how happy you must have been at that!

Iowa was ALWAYS Obama's! *g* He won us over in January, and really in June when we had the floods. He was here like three and four times. The GOP couldn't be bothered, really. But it was great to have confirmation. :)
