Jury Duty

So I called last night, and my group was one of the lucky ones to have to report this morning.

So yeah. On my day off, I have to go there. Which means I won't be around at all, all day probably.

Oh, and in addition to a co-worker being in the same jury pool as me....one of the other managers has jury duty next week. How weird is that?

Well, I hope this does not cause any inconvenience for your family as a result. Getting paid for mileage is one thing - causing a complete disruption to your family life is a completely different matter. :-/

Then at least take your book and notebook (and pen!) so you can maintain your sanity! ;)

That is very wierd. Small world! *g*

Actually, if anything it would be less disrupting, as I wouldn't be working a shift into the evening.

I did...and didn't get to use either :(

That is weird. Strangely, I've lived here all my life and have never once been called for jury duty, but I know people who have been called two and three times.

I hope it's not too disruptive. Should make for some interesting research, though (can you imagine Hsu on trial, heh) ;)

It is weird. Since I became a US citizen, this is the third time I've been called, although until now I've never been selected .

Oh, my muses are just loving this...law abiding citizens that they all are. *snerk*
