How Dickensian



I never knew!

St. Mary's Hospital and now an eldery rest home was once the Luton Union Workhouse.

My actual hometown of Dunstable had a workhouse too, which is mentioned in Oliver Twist. I did know that.

Hee. Isn't it great learning those things. I learned stuff like this about my own hometown years ago. I love sharing it at parties when others are all... I was raised in the most expensive home in blahblahblah county and my family came over in the Mayflower.
