I’m a middle-aged Librarian with a History degree who would much rather disappear into my favourite books than check them out to people. I have been writing stories ever since learnt how to write, but only over the last 25 years has it grown into a serious hobby. I also enjoy fandom very much, although I’m more of a lurker than an active participant. My main, and long-term fandom, is Highlander (and after more than a decade writing these characters, they have taken on lives and stories of their own), and I am a huge fan of crossovers. I also love to roleplay/write collaborative fiction, and you can find my Muselist here. I’m a slow player, over 18, write all ratings from PG to NC-17. and have very few triggers or squicks.

Jaye’s Musings is my personal journal which I add to occasionally, mostly in the form of reviews or long-winded memes when and as I think of it. I also love travelling, especially back to my homeland of the UK, and at some point hope to add some photos from some of my travels as well. I’m slowly working on my family’s geneaology, and I like to cross-stitch and am learning to crochet. I also love history and my favourite periods are Ancient Greece, Late Roman Empire, Roman Britain, and Early Middle Ages.
