Heh, I know, I know. I shouldn't be at all surprised by you liking Bilis or Sylar. Since I'm not fond of them it'll be interesting to see how well Zachary Quintos as Spock works for me in the next Star Trek film.
It's just that I thought that Abbadon would be much more terrible...instead of looking like a cross between Godzilla and King Kong.
On the one hand I wasn't surprised by the design of Abbadon given Bilis mention of "The Beast" from second season New Who. On the other hand I did think given the general tone of Torchwood he should have some Lovecraftian tentacles -- more Cthulhu, less classic demonic horns and cloven hooves.
Three will always be dear to me as that was when I first started watching DW.
*Nods.* I'm sure Four is my favorite Doctor because he was my first. I have a much harder time explaining why I love Six. I had to tell Kadira I am a "Pervy Sixth Fancier." I told my mom Captain Jack Harkness won't surpass K-9 without entertaining me for years, and my being able to hold a toy version of him in my arms. I've got a life size stuffed K-9.
Except for Eight...but I totally blame Fox for that and not Paul McGann, who I like in other things.
I understand. There are a lot of things I don't like about the Fox movie, which I still own a copy of, but not Eight by himself. Hell, I've mentioned when people have got me bitching about the parts of New Who I don't like that I didn't like Eight kissing Grace, but it pales next to all the Doctor/Rose Russell T. Davies has tried to cram down my throat.
