1. What scene always makes you cry?
I can't help it, I always blub at Boromir's death. The tears well up when the first arrow hits and they don't stop until he's in the boat. It's one of the most powerful death scenes there is. And it's not because it's Sean Bean, I'm well used to him dying off in films...but Boromir is certainly his best.
2. What scene always makes you laugh?
There's quite a few. One that sticks in my mind because I've seen it a few times recently is in "Snatch" when Brick Top says "In the words of the Virgin Mary, come again?" Gets me everytime. There's a few others in that film as well.
3. What scene always makes you cringe?
In Sharpe's Waterloo, when Wellington yells as Sharpe "Go on Sharpe, you've broken the Old Guard, they won't stand." It just seems so fakey and unnecessary, and very un-Iron Duke like. There's a couple more in that episode, like when Harris and Harper die...but the Wellington one is worse.
4. What scene always confuses you?
I'm not sure I can pick any specific scene, but "Shooters" is very confusing, and I'm not sure it's meant to be. The writers, I think, wanted to do something clever like "Lock, Stock" or "Snatch", but fell down flat. If you try and look at it too closely, you end up going, "Huh?"...but if you just enjoy the mindless violence and Gerard Butler in a towel...it's not bad *g*
5. What scene always makes you want to kill the writers?
Easy. In the Highlander episode Revelations 6:8...when MacLeod beheads Kronos. Yep, they were bastards for doing that *g*.
