Back in the world of pain free backs! Whee! The new mattress and boxspring came yesterday. The delivery guys had big trouble getting the boxspring upstairs...don't know why as it's exactly the same size as the old one, which went upstairs and downstairs just fine. They ended up doing the really difficult job of taking it up through the bedroom window. Which it just fit...and they broke one of my curtain rails in the process. The mattress went up the stairs just fine, even though it is about twice the thickness of the old one. So it's a trip to the store today to buy new sheets. But it's well, well worth it. I haven't slept so well in weeks; however it is like climbing the Eiger just to get into bed *g*.
Seeing as I did have to wait most of the day at home waiting for the delivery (they didn't arrive until 2), I did get to treat myself to Lady Chatterley with Sean. Hot, very hot! And refreshing as it's been quite a while since I'd seen it. Also got some writing done...for my next Creative Writing class assignment. The topic is Returning Home...and this time I'm doing a piece of pure fiction, rather than the memoir style most seem to fall back on.
Last weekend, the SO and I treated ourselves to a new toy...a digital camera. Must get out and about so we can use it, certainly is cool though. It's a Fujifilm Finepix S602Zoom, and you can do all kinds of stuff with it. Nice and chunky too!
