The lack of budget really hurt Blakes 7 and it was famous for its wobbly sets and the actors sometimes having to literally holding the set together at times, but the writing was excellent and the finale is probably the most shocking (and indeed the hopelessness of it contributed to a spike in the suicide rate in the UK). The Professionals was probably my first slash fandom...before I even know what slash was!

That is so cool that you have a bullet of the period (and I'm sorry for you loss <3). Yes, Richard Sharpe was such a very special character and a great series.
