Just got back from seeing LXG. Not bad, not the greatest ever, but still, can't have everything. Stuart Townsend was very nice as Dorian Gray -- which is a book I've always meant to read, but never got around to.
Even better...the trailers were worth the $3 admission alone. TR2 with some GORGEOUS shots of Gerry (the TV promos here never showed him!) and POTC as well. I happily drooled away for quite a while. Two weeks and they'll both be making a repeat visit to base. YAY!

1)What is your guaranteed squick when you're reading fic? It would have to be RPS. Just RPfic is bad enough, but RPS is just too squicky.
2) Name an actor or actress you can't slash without squicking. I don't slash any actor or actress (that RPS thing, again). But if we're talking about characters...I'm open to most pairings as long they're done convincingly. The only ones that do squick are HP slash when they involve the kids (not that I read much HPfic anyway, but).
3) Name a song that you can't stand to see used for a songvid -- it just doesn't work, there are too many done to it or for whatever other reason. There's none I can think of off the top of my head. I guess as long as the song goes with the vid, it's good. OTOH, if it's a totally wrong mix, then it doesn't work.
4) What is your biggest pet peeve with con hotels? (any con, any hotel) Con Hotel: The bar closing at something like 11pm. Any Hotel: That one too soft, totally flat pillow that you get.
5) Name something about fandom on livejournal that gets on your nerves? Hmm...haven't been around too long, and I'm pretty much a lurker staying on the fringe, just occassionally looking in, but the whining's bad. But that also happens on lists and boards...not just a LiveJournal thing.
