It's not anything really tangible, but when they remember their birth and her death and visit her shrine, he always stays behind and has a conversation with her, and he receives support from her in dealing with his issues. -- Because of the fact that he is the only known, living naturally born Immortal, Danny can not only sense another Immortal, but if he's met them before, can sense who it is.
