LOL, yes, Aamir is short. He's only 5'5", but that's okay by me. :)
The English/Hindi thing could be explained a little bit by the common usage of English phrases, although to have him tattoo in Hinglish would have been best. :)
I liked both Sanjays, and it took me a bit to realize why they went so over the top with the animalistic rage. He's so incredibly frustrated that all of his life is lived via pictures taken within 15-minute spans of time and the only thing he can truly remember is the loss of the love of his life. It's over-the-top a little, but it does fit how Aamir portrays his characters.
Physically, Aamir may not be as pretty as Hrithik, but I will admit that I am swayed by his ability to sink his teeth into his roles and become the character rather than just act it. (Lagaan and Fanaa are two good examples of that, as well.) Plus, shirtless Aamir in Lagaan won me over, and I honestly didn't notice his height until after I learned what it was. ;)
